Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio has set his targets high for next season with a desire for the Nerazzurri to win the Europa League.
Fellow defender Yuto Nagatomo had previously hesitated to rule out a Scudetto for the Milanese club this season and now D’Ambrosio wants his side to complete the European double.
“We have done so much to get to the Europa League group stages and now we will try and win and qualify for the Champions League,” the 27-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.
With regards to the Inter squad in general, the Italian says that the mood is upbeat and lots of effort is being put in.
“We are working very intensively, the workload is heavy, the feelings are very positive,” he said.
Inter finished fourth place in Serie A last season which grants them a place in the Europa League group stages without the need of qualifying, and they will find out who will compete in their group on August 26.
