Defender Philip Boampong has returned to Hearts following the expiration of his season-long loan at Saudi Arabian side Al-Shoalah.
The 23-year-old is back in the West African country after making only eight appearances for the Torch.
Boampong was loaned out to the Arabian side for an undisclosed fee in 2012 but is yet to be offered a long-term contract.
“I am back in town to re-join Hearts,” Boampong told Oman FM
“If it is God’s will for me to sign for a new club abroad, people will get to know.
“For now I’m back home to see what happens.”
The ex-Berekum Arsenal defender could be a good addition to a Hearts squad tipped to excel next season.
