Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin has proven his on-field intelligence extends to matters beyond the pitch after announcing he has been accepted to study at American university Harvard.
The 29-year-old revealed on Twitter that he had been accepted on a course at the prestigious Ivy League college: "I'm pleased to inform you that I've been admitted to Harvard Business School! Super excited about the programme and delighted to meet legendary [professor] Anita Elberse."
