Dwarfs owner won't condemn violent fans

Ebusua Dwarfs owner Nana Aidoo will not condemn the actions of his fans who physically assaulted match referees and journalists after a league game on Sunday.

Kyeremanteng and his assistants George Saijah and Augustine Akugri were thoroughly beaten up by irate fans of the Mysterious club after a late equaliser was disallowed.

Journalists were also not spared the wrath of the fans who also assaulted reporter Nana Asankah of Eagle FM in Cape Coast.

But the owner of Dwarfs refused to condemn the violent acts of the fans in an interview on a local radio station saying the incident was 'unfortunate'

He claimed that the beating of Kyeremanteng could have been motivated by his previous actions against the club.

The Ghana FA is investigating the issue and Dwarfs could be banned from home or fined or both if they are found guilty by the disciplinary committee.
