Hearts striker Edward Affum has put in a request seeking to terminate his contract for lack of playing time.

The 23-year-old has grown increasingly frustrated under coach David Duncan for limited opportunities.

He has slapped in a request seeking a move away from the club, just 12 months into his three year-contract.

The ex-Asante Kotoko player has been unhappy since he was dropped for Hearts Premier League game at Heart of Lions on December 16.

He was reported to have clashed with coach Duncan at the team’s training grounds late Decemeber.

It’s however unclear if the capital-based side will grant his wish.
