Ghanasoccernet.com understands an invitation has been sent to sponsors of the national teams and the league to appear before the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

The EOCO are investigating allegations of bribery and corruption by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The invitation is said to provide an opportunity to the EOCO to cross-check some vital information it gathered  in some of the files it seized during its raid on the offices of the GFA last month.

Sponsors to appear before the EOCO includes Globacom Ghana Ltd, Guiness Ghana Ltd and CCTC amongst others and are believed to be questioned on their financial commitments to either the national teams and league.
