Ex-Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong rules out England return

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has shut down a potential return to England.

The 25-year-old is trying to put his career back on track after joining Swedish top-flight side AFC  Eskilstuna.

The Ghanaian, who was tipped for greatness, failed to impress during a two-year spell in Russia where he played for FC Tula and Ufa.

When quizzed if he will return to England he responded in the negative.

" No. No." he told  No. No.

The injury-prone African previously enjoyed loan spells at Wolves, Charlton and Fulham, but never progressed under Arsene Wenger.

He impressed in Arsenal's youth set up, alongside Jack Wilshere, but lacked the required quality to progress in the first team.
