Ex-Ghana FA boss Lepowuraà MND Jawula is pleading with the Federation to reduce the heavy punishments meted out to Ebusua Dwarfs.
The Cape Coast-based side have been handed a 12-match home ban and an accumulated 20,000 Ghana cedis fine for crowd trouble during their Premier League game against Aduana Stars.
A number of Premier League chiefs have been unanimous with their calls for a reduction of the ban since it could plunge the club into relegation.
The former Ghana Football chief believes the punishment will condemn them instead of reforming them.
ââ¬ÅI think the punishment is too harsh and so something must be done about it quickly,â⬠Lepowuraà Jawula said
ââ¬ÅThe clubs are already suffering and so to hand out such punishment to them in my humble view is way above board.
ââ¬ÅYes, let condemn the fans but to make the club pay for such a hefty way because of the behaviour of a few I believe will kill of the interest of anyone who want to invest in the game.
ââ¬ÅLet us find the culprits and punish them according to the laws of the land,ââ¬
