Ex-Ghana Under-20 star Adu Tutu Skelley has expressed his desire to play for Kotoko at aged 34.

Skelley has been without a club since he left USV Hollenegg  having featured for many clubs abroad including Union Saint-Gilloise, Kapfenberger SV and Hapoel Beer Sheva.

The former King Faisal exciting midfielder is still eager to play at the top level and says he would love to play for the Ghanaian giants.

“For me it’s not a problem. If a club contacts me and I see that they are really serious, I will come and play because football is my passion,” he told Accra-based Power FM

“You know in our job, you can never choose a club because it depends on the club that wants me to play. For instance I can say Kotoko and maybe Medeama, Hearts or AshantiGold is looking for me and you know how they talk in Ghana.

But for me I would love to play for Kotoko.”

Skelley was the fans-favourite at the 1999 CAF African Youth Championship which was won on home soil.

His halcyon era was a period marked by the glorious days of Italian trainer Giuseppe Dossena who built a fine Ghana side through youth development and an eye for success.

Tutu’s second-half appearances for the Ghana U20 side at the Ghana 99 Youth Championship earned him the tag a super-sub.

However, despite his precocious exploits at youth level, the former King Faisal star was unable to meet expectations at the senior level for Ghana as he faded out scene.

Some of Tutu’s Ghana team-mates at the time include Owusu Afriyie, Sammy Agyei, Laryea Kingston, Baffour Gyan, Aziz Ansah and Emmanuel Adjogu.

Wow its been ages since I heard about this guy, I thought he had retired already. Much was expected from him after his exploits in the youth tournaments way back in the late 90's, its quite unfortunate that he faded out quickly.
