Ex-Hasaacas coach Yusif Basigi watched Medeama's defeat to Wa All Stars to fuel reports of possible takeover

Ex-Hasaacas coach Yusif Basigi watched Medeama' 1-0 defeat at home to Wa All Stars on Sunday to fuel reports he could take over from under-fire coach Augustine Evans Adotey.

Adotey's future is hanging on a thread after the side's suffered their third successive defeat of the season.

It's unclear if officials of the Mauve and Yellows have held talks with the Black Queens coach over the job.

Adotey remains firmly in charge at the moment though reports suggest he is gradually losing the support of the club's top hierarchy.

Basigi's arrival in Tarkwa has fueled reports he could as well be the next man to take charge of the team.

The 2016 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners are enduring perhaps one of their worst start to a season after picking just five points from six games to heap pressure on the current coach.

The club has vowed to find solution to their downward spiral and fast amid fears it could degenerate into crisis.

They are currently 12th on the table and travel to Dorma to face league leaders Aduana Stars on Wednesday.
