Liberty Professionals new signing Edward Affum wants to lead the side to the Premier League crown.

The experienced attacker has joined the scientific soccer lads on a two-year deal after a failed stint abroad.

The former Kotoko striker has set an audacious target of winning the Premier League title.

” My coming back to the local scene is a big opportunity for me to showcase to my fans what I’ve learned from abroad and more so to win the Premier league for Liberty Professionals,” he said “With the help of my team mates, we shall bring glory to the club. We are not going to compete just to stay in the league, but nothing comes easy without training.

“After returning to home, I could have chosen to starred for any of the big clubs in the country but because of the transition I went through playing abroad, I think Liberty Professionals are the only club in Ghana that can help me in terms of matching that quality.

“Moreover, there’s less pressure in Liberty and so I will use this opportunity to attain the targets I’ve set for the season."
