Ex-Liberty defender Anthony Nimo has agreed a three-year deal with city rivals Hearts of Oak pending a medical.

Nimo has agreed personal terms with the Phobians and will be expected to seal the dotted lines in the coming days.

The defender joined Hearts as a free agent following the expiration of his contract.

Hearts had earlier denied signing the hugely talented right-back but the player claims he's almost set to join the Accra rivals.

“I have finished everything with Accra Hearts of Oak, including medical and talks," he told Kingdom FM

“It is only left with my signature i have to put on paper. We have talked about money and other things.

” My contract with liberty professionals have expired, and only Hearts of Oak have approached me.”

Finally, he concluded, ” I will give my chance of playing for Hearts of Oak about 80 percent. “
