EXCLUSIVE: Aduana Stars set to sign Medeama ace Malik Akowuah with an 'unbelievable' offer

Aduana Stars are close to completing a massive transfer coup for Medeama midfielder Malik Akowuah by tabling an 'unbelievable' offer, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Yellow and Mauves are 'very close' to accepting the huge offer from the Fire Club for their influential midfielder.

Akowuah has been on the radar of Hearts for the past two seasons with reports claiming the Phobians will agree a fee with Medeama today (Friday).

But Ghana's leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm the 2009 Ghana Premier League champions could gazump Hearts for the signature of the  hugely talented versatile man.

They have tabled an 'unbelievable' offer with both parties satisfied with the terms of the agreement, GHANAsoccernet.com sources reveal.

The club's spokesman Patrick Akoto wants to remain coy but hints the deal could be sealed soon.

"We don't want to go into the details but we're looking at the best option for our player," he told GHANAsoccernet.com

"It's unbelievable. There have been discussions behind the scenes and I'm sure an agreement with be reached at some point.

"There are several offers but we want the best that suits both the player and the club."

It will be a massive blow for Hearts who have been on the trail of the former Great Olympics and Ashantigold enforcer.

The midfielder has held advanced talks with Aduana Stars and believed to be close to agreeing personal terms.
