After prolonged talks, Rizespor managed to reach an agreement with the the centre-back’s former club Kayseri Erciyesspor.

The club finished 15th last season- seven points above the relegation mark- on the 18-team table and want to fortify their squad for an improved display this term.

Boye was earlier linked with a return to the French Ligue 1 after training with his former Rennes last month to maintain his fitness before he sorted out his future.

He came close to signing for Ajaccio but the French club could not reach an agreement with Kayseri Erciyesspor.
