Winger Christian Atsu will not play in Ghanaââ¬â¢s international friendly against Canada next week due to injury, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 23-year-old suffered a knock during a training session with newly-promoted English side Bournemouth this week.
Bournemouth insiders have told GHANAsoccernet.com that the Black Star will undergo treatment and will not be available for the friendly game in Washington.
Atsu was expected to be part of the squad but the latest setback means he will not be available for the West African country.
Ghana is already without captain Asamoah Gyan, who has ruled himself out of the game due to a knee injury.
The Black Stars will play the historic friendly against the Pilgrims on October 13 in the United States of America.
