The 28-year-old was expected to travel to Egypt on Thursday to begin a two-week trial session with the top-flight side but that has been put on ice.

Kotoko are demanding a straight deal for the striker who has hit double-figures this term for the defending League champions.

The club has thus canceled the deal with is believed to have infuriated the Burkina Faso international.

Toure, adjudged the 2011 Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player, courted controversy during his last trip to Egypt three years ago.
