EXCLUSIVE: Las Palmas refuse to activate renewal option to extend Kevin-Prince Boateng stay
Kevin-Prince Boateng celebrates his goal for Las Palmas

Spanish La Liga side Las Palmas have failed to activate the option to renew the contract of  Ghana star Kevin-Prince Boateng, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

This means the Ghana international will be available on the transfer market for free this summer.

Boateng signed a one-year deal on a free transfer and has been a huge success for the Canarian side.

He fit perfectly into the system of coach Quique Setién that has seen him score eight goals in 22 appearances.

Boateng has played for Portsmouth, AC Milan and Schalke in recent past.
