GHANASoccernet.com can confirm nine clubs have submitted bids for Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom.

Clubs in Belgium, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Mexico, United States, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have each presented impressive figures because he is available on a free transfer.

But the player wants to stay at Red Star Belgrade-where he has been on loan since February-out of gratitude.

Boakye joined the Serbian giants from the now defunct Latina Calcio and now a free player.

But sources say the player is so grateful to Red Star Belgrade for the loan opportunity that resurrected his career that he is considering staying on for at least a year.

The player's agent Oliver Arthur had earlier said the decision on where he plays next season will be influenced only by 'football reasons'.

The multitude of requests for his availability is not surprising because the 24-year old is highly rated and still expected to rich the top echelon of world football.

He is expected to start for Red Star in the Europa League qualifying on Thursday.

He still eligible to play, under the original loan, until June 30 to complete the requirements of at least half of a season loan.
