Fierce competition in the fourth Santander Adrenalyn Challenge by LaLiga eSports online tournament

The Santander Adrenalyn Challenge by LaLiga eSports, one of the major electronic sports projects launched by LaLiga, continues to grow and attract more followers. The fourth online qualification event was played on the Arena GG platform on the weekend.

With a spot up for grabs in the in-person final phase of the tournament which will take place at the biggest eSports event in Spain, Gamergy 2018, the competition was fierce. This week's winner was Atnis, who improved on his fourth-place finish in the previous qualifier to claim victory, after successfully navigating his way through all of the previous rounds and defeating Pinpineli 2-0 in the final. In the playoff for third place, Bavido saw off ZABALIVE 2-0, to make it two consecutive third-place finishes.

The next online qualifier tournament of the Santander Adrenalyn Challenge by LaLiga eSports – number five of a total of eight – will be staged on 28 and 29 April. The last of these tournaments will take place on 19 May and will determine the eighth winner to book their place in the final phase, which will be contested at Gamergy between 22 and 24 June.

At Gamergy, Spain's biggest eSports and gaming festival, eight in-person open tournaments will be played to determine the gamers who will face off against the champions from the online phase. This final field of 16 will compete against one another in a gripping final that will take place during the event.
