Aduana Stars striker Bright Adjei is confident of getting better after playing a cameo role on his return from injury in the side's 2-1 win at Inter Allies over the weekend.

The experienced attacker had been in the treatment room for a month.

But he returned to the pitch as the Fire Club managed a precious win in the capital to put them in the driving seat.

And the two-time CNN best goal award winner has vowed to rediscover his form.

“It’s been a while, I have been nursing an injury but am now ok, am now fit and I trained with my team,” he is quoted by the Ghana Sports Newspaper.

“I just have to work hard and get my form back because is been a while I kicked the ball.

“I will try my best and my sure I regain my form and help my team in the Ghana Premier League.”

Adjei, 23, netted 9 times as the Dormaa-based side finished second last season.

He is expected to return to the starting line-up ahead of the home clash against struggling Medeama.
