Ex-Kotoko captain Daniel Nii Adjei plans to drag the club to court over unpaid signing on-fee.
Adjei signed a professional contract with the Porcupine Warriors in 2011 after spending his entire youth career at the club.
The TP Mazembe midfielder claims he has not been paid his signing on-fee since he joined from the à youth team but now wants to follow in the footsteps of Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong of dragging the club to court to demand the payment of his cash.
ââ¬ÅThe management of the club promised to pay me my money on a later date after penciling down a two year contract, which I agreed to, but as we speak I have still not received my money.ââ¬he is quoted by myfinalwhistle.com
Kotoko has made me who I am today so I did not think that was the best way to handle such a delicate issue. But when i heard that former executive board chairman Dr KK Sarpong had taken the club to court for owing him, I started to think about that option as well.ââ¬
Adjei captained the side to win the Ghana Premier League title in the 2011/12 season.
