Aspiring Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association Frederick Acheampong has manifested his intentions of seeing transformations at the nations' football governing body insisting that the FA must re-brand itself to erase the misconceptions of people about the FA.

Contesting on the ticket of New Edubiase United FC, the renowned sports broadcast journalist claims that there is widespread misconception about the FA and that his major concern will be to moot for the re-branding of the GFA to change the misconception of the masses.

"My brother, there have been widespread misconception about the GFA and I think it must be re-branded. If I am given the nod to be on the Executive Committee I will strongly moot for the FA to be re-branded. I have strategies to do that and I believe it will contribute towards making the FA appear how we all want it to appear", Frederick Acheampong told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The vetting process for the Executive Committee elections was expected to begin on Friday September 4 with the Electoral Committee expected to present its report by September 9.

The Appeals process will also end on Monday September 14 with elections set for Monday September 28 for the constituent bodies and Tuesday September 29 for the Premier and Division One positions.
