Ghana international defender Jeff Schlupp will see a massive boost in his finances as his new deal with Leicester Cityà isà worth ã30,000 a week.
The left-back will sign a new four-year deal with the Foxes today to ward off interest from rival English Premier League sides.
Schlupp was on a deal worth ã10,000 a week when he extended his contract with Leicester City last year but his performance for the club has encouraged them to increase his wages to encourage him to stay.
Wing-back Schlupp was one of the stars of Leicester's Great Escape and retaining him will be a huge boost for boss Nigel Pearson.
Schlupp's form had made him a target for Arsenal, Aston Villa, Swansea and West Ham.
Manchester United - who took Schlupp on trial in 2013 - are also understood to have enquired about the 22-year-old's situation.
But he has chosen to extend his stay at the King Power after talks with Leicester director of football Jon Rudkin - Schlupp's former Foxes academy boss - who is believed to have played a huge part in securing the Ghana international's signature.
