Ghana defender Richard Kissi-Boateng wants to win this year's FIFA Club World Cup in Japan.

The Congolese giants will represent Africa at the global inter-club competition after winning the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Coach Patrice Carteron side won their 5th African crown after dispatching Algerian side USM Algiers in the finals.

The Ghanaian left-back has set an audacious target of winning the Club World Cup in the Asian country which starts next month.

‘Yes it will be great, I really want to win the trophy with my team because it will be a great moment for me as a player, so I really want us to win the competition, he is quoted by Ghana Sports Newspaper.

Boateng joined TP Mazembe after excelling with Berekum Chelsea in the CAF Champions League in 2012.

Six of the seven participants in the FIFA World Cup are now known. FC Barcelona, River Plate (Argentina), Club América (Mexico), Mazembe (DRC) and Auckland City (New Zealand) have been joined by Guangzhou Evergrande of China.
