Harrison Afful will be a key player for Columbus Crew when they host Adam Kwarasey’s Portland Timbers for the MLS Cup next month.
Afful, who joined the Black & Gold in July, helped them to beat New York Red Bull to win the Eastern Conference Championship 2-1 on aggregate.
Kwarasey’s goalkeeping heroics were crucial in Timbers success as Western Conference champions following a 5-3 aggregate win over FC Dallas.
The match will be played at the MAPFRE Stadium, home for Columbus Crew SC on Sunday 06 December.
