Ghana shot stopper Fatau Dauda has described the choice to join Nigerian side Enyimba FC as the best insisting it has given him more experience.

The former Orlando Pirates goalie left AshGold at the end of last season to join the Nigerian giants – a move that was criticized by many.

But after a season with the side and guiding them to the CAF Confederation Cup competition, Dauda believes he made the right choice.

“I made the right choice in moving to Enyimba and will never regret that. After last season in Ghana, I opted for a different challenge, the Enyimba opportunity came and I grabbed it and I never harbor any regrets,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“When I arrived in Nigeria, they had played about 8 matches and had a trusted goalie but I fought my way through to become the number through hard work.

“At the end of the season, I was nominated among the top three goalkeepers of the season and I am happy with that.

"My choice of joining Enyimba is the best,” he added.

The former AshGold goalie guided the former CAF Champions League winners to pick a ticket to next year’s CAF Confederations Cup competition, an achievement that was dear to the club.
