Afriyie Acquah: Torino new signing credits marriage for career rise

Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah says getting married has brought him good fortune in his footballing career.

The 23 year old midfielder recently signed a four year contract with Italian Serie A side Torino from German side TSG Hoffenhiem.

Last season, Acquah had productive loan spells with Parma and Sampdoria.

And says he has seen progress in his career since getting married to Amanda.

“My football has progressed since I got married and everything is good for me,” Acquah told Allsports.com.gh

“Marriage is good and I can say it has helped my career.”

Acquah is expected to join his new side at the end of this month for pre-season.
