The Ghana Football Association is studying a proposal to play the United States of American in an international friendly in June, GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt.

The Yanks wants a shot with the Black Stars in America to seek revenge after a round of 16 defeat at the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.

Ghana prevailed 2-1 thanks to an Asamoah Gyan extra-time winning goal.

The Black Stars also beat the Americans at the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany by the same score line during a group stage.

Last month, Ghana drew 1-1 with Chile in an exhibition match played at the PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.
