Ghana U20 glovesman Seidu Mutawakilu is thrilled about the prospects of playing in the CAF Confederations Cup with Hearts of Oak.

The 19-year-old towering keeper who officially joined the Phobians in September from rivals Asante Kotoko is in a 26-man squad presented to the Confederation of African Football - CAF, for the competition.

And, the prospects of playing in the competition excites the youngster who is first choice keeper at the Black Satellites.

"This is my very first year with Hearts of Oak and though I haven’t played any competitive match for them, the technical team deems it fit to add me to the Africa squad and it’s a good feeling," he told Sports Crusader.

Mutawakilu is known for his quality in between the sticks but he must fend off competition from Burkina Faso international keeper Abdoulai Soula

"[I'm] very humbled by that because the competition in our (goalkeeping) department is very tough and to make it means a lot to me," he added.
