Ghana winger Patrick Nyarko could play his first game for Chicago Fire in nine months ahead of Tuesday’s US Open Cup round of 16 game against Charlotte Independence on Tuesday.

Nyarko, 29, has not played for Fire since he suffered a serious ligament tear knee injury in October last year.

However, the Ghana international is on road to recover and could feature for Fire in their Cup game against Charlotte at the Toyota Park on Tuesday.

Nyarko is capped once by Ghana at the international level.
