Ghana youth defender Patrick Asmah has stepped up pre-season training at Serie B side Avellino.
The 20-year-old arrived on loan from Serie A side Atalanta and has already began pre-season with the side.
Avellino manager Domenico Toscano is counting on the 2015 Ghana U20 lateral defender to provide steel for his defence in their promotion chasing campaign.
Asmah joins Ghanaian defender Isaac Donkor who has also joined the club from Inter Inter.
