Ghana youth striker Benjamin Tetteh made remarkable senior team debut when he scored the consolation in Standard Liege’s 2-1 defeat to Westerlo at home on Saturday.

The 18-year-old was handed a full debut and slotted home a sublime finish on 64 minutes with a powerful low grounder from inside the box which came off the side post into the net.

Watch Benjamin Tetteh's debut goal for Standard Liege on his first league match for Standard Liege:

Benjamin de Ceulaer bagged a brace for the visitors with strikes on the 4th and 44 minutes respectively.

Tetteh lasted the entire duration and justified why coach Yannick Ferrera should continue to play him in his team.

He joined Standard Liege this summer from Ghanaian side Dreams FC and played at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
