Ghanaian champions AshantiGold set to complete swoop for Edubiase brothers
Fuseini Nuhu is on the radar of AshantiGold

Ghanaian Premier League champions are close to sealing a move for brothers Alhassan Nuhu and Fuseinu Nuhu who play for rivals New Edubiase United, according to reports from Obuasi.

The Elephants are keen to beef up their squad with the signing of the twin brothers for their continental campaign next season.

Fuseini, an attacking midfielder, bagged 13 league goals while his twin brother Alhassan noted for his defensive midfield qualities also netted four times.

Fuseini's international exposure is one of the main qualities AshantiGold are looking at in the transfer.

The former Tema Real Sportive player had a brief spell with Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol in 2011.

AshantiGold trainer Bashir Hayford is keen to blood in fresh players especially in the striking department after losing striker Yakubu Mohammed before the end of last season.

Despite the reports no official bid negotiations had been announced by either of the clubs but it is believed Edubiase are ready to release the pair to the Obuasi-based side who housed their campaign last season.

AshantiGold have lost captain Lawrence Lartey to South African Absa Premier Soccer League side Ajax Cape Town.
