Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen is suspended for PSV Eindhoven's clash against former club AZ Alkmar on Saturday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 22-year-old is serving a suspension after he picked up a red card in the final game of the play-off against visitors FC Utrecht.

Coach Philip Cocu could partner Daniel Schwaab and Nicolas Isimat-Mirin in defence as he seeks to find the puzzle to the absence of the Dutch-born Ghanaian.

The two teams go at each other at the Philips Stadion on the opening day of the Dutch Eredivisie Regular Season
