Ghanaian forward Dickson Afoakwa bags brace for Belarusian side FC Gomel in friendly win over Dnepr Mogilev

Ghanaian forward Dickson Afoakwa bagged a brace for Belarusian side FC Gomel in their 3-1 friendly win over FC Dnepr Mogilev.

The 19-year-old, who is on loan from Dinamo Brest, underline his goal scoring prowess with a goal in each half to propel the side to victory.

"The guys only came to us yesterday, which in a certain way affected their actions in today's match. The first half turned out to be holistic in terms of the content of the game," coach Vyacheslav Gerashchenko said after the game

"We showed attacking football, created a series of dangerous moments at the gate of the Dnipro and managed to score two goals.

Prior to the brace, the Ghanaian had scored just once in 12 matches for the side since joining on loan from Dinamo Brest.
