French-born Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei scored Stade Reims's consolation goal in their 2-1 home loss against GFC Ajaccio on Saturday evening.

The 21-year-old climbed off the bench in the 64th minute to replace Gabonese international Frederic Bulot halved the deficit for Reims 13 minutes later.

He artfully collected a pass from Mangane inside the box and stepped away from a defender hammering a left low effort past the visitors keeper.

But Ajaccio had already taken a 2-0 lead before the introduction of the Ghanaian who has featured for France at U21 level.

Kyei's goal was his second goal of the season and is will be hoping to increase his tally in his subsequent outings for Reims.

He scored his first goal for Reims when they posted a 4-1 win over Lorient in the Ligue 1 in late August.
