Midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi has hailed Nordsjaelland’s capture of fellow Ghanaian Kamal Issah.

The 20-year-old sealed a three-year move to the Danish champions on Wednesday from French club Stade Rennes.

Issah plays in a similar position as Adu Kofi who joined the Farum-based side two years ago ironically from another French club OGC Nice.

Kofi however says he welcomes the challenge posed by his compatriot and expressed delight to have a countryman in his team.

“I am very happy to have him (Issah) here and I am sure he will enjoy his stay in Denmark,” the former Ghana youth international told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“He (Issah) is a good player and plays in the same position I do but each one of us have our unique style and qualities.

“Therefore he is a great addition to the team and I hope we win many things together here.”

Issah could make his Nordsjaelland debut this weekend when Brondby comes visiting.
