Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan has been ruled out of Fiorentina's Europa Conference League opener on Thursday.
Duncan is nursing an injury and has not been included in the clash against Latvian side RFS.
The Italian side though are expected to get the job done in the midfielder's absence.
The 29-year-old has missed Fiorentina's last four games because of the injury problem and his recovery date is currently unknown.
Duncan has played just one match this season.
The former Ghana international and his girlfriend recently had a baby girl.
