Ghanaian midfielder Amidu Salifu to stay put in Italy despite Mouscron Peruwelz interest

Ghanaian midfielder Amidu Salifu will remain in Italy despite mounting interest from Belgian outfit Mouscron Peruwelz.

The 23-year-old, currently on the roaster of Italian Seria A side Fiorentina, is wanted by several clubs abroad.

But the midfielder's representative Massimo Briaschi has revealed his client will stay in Italy.

 

“I do not think Salifu will move to Mouscron. I am still searching for a solution in Italy,” Briaschi told Tuttomercatoweb.

Seria B outfit Benevento are believed to be interested in the former Catania, Perugia and Modena loanee.
