Mohammed Abubakari scored a consolation goal for Åtvidaberg in Sweden.
Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Abubakari grabbed a consolation goal for Åtvidaberg who suffered a 5-2 humiliating defeat at BK Hacken on Friday.
The 26-year-old former Fete Feyenoord Academy graduate levelled the scoring for Åtvidaberg on the 50th minute mark after a first half Rene Makondele strike had put Hacken 1-0 ahead.
Abubakari eluded the Hacken defence in the air to plant a powerful header beyond Patrik Källqvist’s net to keep the scoring one-all.
But goals from Black Stars striker Majeed Waris and Nasiru Mohammed ensured defeat for Åtvidaberg.
He joined the Swedish side from relegated Greek Super League side Doxa Dramas.
