DC United midfielder Patrick Nyark reckons the whole squad needs to up their game after powering his side to victory over Atlanta United in the MLS.
The Ghanaian enforcer was the hero of the side when he scored the winning goal as they defeated Atalanta 2-1 at the RFK Stadium on Wednesday.
DC United have endured a torrid season in the Major League Soccer regular season after collecting just 18 points from 16 games.
“I wasn’t concerned at that point because of the way we were playing,” says Nyarko.
“Turning them over, creating chances. I knew eventually one was going to go in.”
“The guys played really well today, and they should enjoy this, but there’s no way we should be satisfied."
“We’ve got to go get more. We want to have this feeling that we’re feeling today, we want to feel it more and start climbing up the table."
