Gladbach star Dahoud opts for BVB over Liverpool

Mahmoud Dahoud has reportedly rejected the chance to join Liverpool.

The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder has been heavily linked with the Reds all season but has chosen Borussia Dortmund instead.

German publication WAZ reports that the 21-year-old Syrian-born German 'ha made a decision about his future'.

It is understood that Dahoud's future lies in Dortmund with BVB boss Thomas Tuchel 'fiercely committed' to the promise he made the player last summer.

BVB will pay a release clause of more than £8.6million (€10m) plus bonuses to land Dahoud at season's end.
