Columbus Crew Ghana defender Harrison Afful came close to winning the man of the match award in Sunday’s Eastern Conference Championship return leg clash.
The right-back was impressive in the 73 minutes he lasted on the field as Crew lost 1-0 but won the series 2-1 on aggregate.
Afful was second in the voting process with 27.0 % while the winner Michael Parkhurt got 35.1 %.
