Hasaacas head coach Yusif Basigi expects improved quality of play ahead of league kickoff

Head coach of Sekondi Hasaacas SC Yusif Basigi says he expects a better league this season over what he saw last season in terms of the quality of play and competition.

The established Black Queens head coach is on record to have lauded the competition in the league last season despite the fact that many people downplayed its competitiveness.

The soft-spoken gaffer has however noted that after watching some pre-season matches of some clubs as well as their own preparations, he expects nothing in the league than an improvement.

“I expect to see an improved quality of play over what I saw last season. We enjoyed some good games last season but I want to see the quality of play this season to be better than what we saw last season,” Basigi told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I want to see good game and a better competition than last season.”

“I had the opportunity to watch some of the games in the FirsTrust G6 Tournament and based on what I saw, I am convinced that we shall have a highly competitive league than last season,” he added.

The competition in the league this season promises to be very keen as demonstrated in the pre-season preparations of most of the clubs.

However, Basigi hopes to better their 7th position on the league log this season

The league is set to commence on the 20th of this month with Hasaacas travelling all the way to Wa All Stars to begin their ambitious run in the season.
