Hasaacas Ladies retain Women's League title with shootout win over Fabulous Ladies
Hasaacas Ladies have successfully defended their top flight crown

Hasaacas Ladies retained their Women’s League title with a pulsating penalty shootout win over Fabulous Ladies on Saturday.

Fabulous Ladies’ goalkeeper Memunatu Sulemana missed the crucial penalty to hand the trophy to Hasaacas who scored six of their shootouts as against Fabulous’ five at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The game was meant to adjudge the overall winner of the women’s top flight with Hasaacas and Fabulous ladies winning their respective southern and northern divisions.

The game however finished with both sides failing to hit the back of the net to see the tie headed straight into shootout for the grand winner to emerge.

Ex Black Queens goalkeeper Memunatu Sulemana missed a crucial kick to hand the initiative to Hasaacas Ladies who made no mistakes to convert to retain their top flight crown.
