Mohammed Polo is delighted his less-fancied Hearts side split points with champions Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League derby on Sunday in Kumasi.

Before the match, Kotoko talked about annihilating their perennial rivals who have been insipid this term.

But the Phobians put up an impressive display to draw barren with the installed league champions.

“Before the game itself, Kotoko had predicted they were going to beat us 5-0,” Polo said in a post-match interview

“I don't know where they got it from but it looked clear that they were motivated.

“I didn't want to say anything till the game is over.

“It was clear that the game could have gone to either side.”

Third place Hearts are now two points behind Heart of Lions and remained in contention for final CAF Champions League slot.
