Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak have confirmed deputy skipper Tetteh Nortey will be out for at least two weeks due to injury.

Nortey fractured his leg in the club's home defeat to New Edubiase last Sunday and has since made little progress in the treatment room.

The player has had two separate scans on his injured leg to ascertain the level of injury on the ankle.

Under-fire coach Paa Kwesi Fabian will be without the influential defender for Sunday’s crucial away trip to B.A Stars at the Sunyani Coronation Park and against Bechem Chelsea at home.

Captain Karim Alhassan has returned from the Ghana Under-20 camp and Esme Mends rejoins his team mates after recovering from a groin injury.
