Hearts of Oak midfielder Malik Akowuah was the official man-of-the-match in the 1-0 win over arch rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League derby.
Akowuah starred in the middle as the Phobians needed a late controversial penalty to bag the points at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The first half was dominated by the Porcupines and were unfortunate not to take the lead as they missed a series of chances.
Akowuah joined Hearts this season after leaving Medeama.
