Hearts of Oak to lodge protest against Kotoko over unqualified Obed Owusu on Tuesday

Hearts of Oak have confirm they will file a protest against rivals Asante Kotoko for fielding an unqualified Obed Owusu in the Ghana Premier League derby clash last week.

The club’s communications director Larry Opare Addo has told GHANASoccernet.com.

“Yes I can confirm to you that Hearts of Oak will pursue the case of protesting for our match day 25 encounter against Asante Kotoko,” Addo told etv Ghana

“Coming into the league season all sixteen club had to abide by the rules and regulations of the Ghana Football Association.

“So we will test the resolve of the fairness of the disciplinary committee of the Ghana football association.”

Hearts lost the match 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kotoko have reacted to the claims by Hearts of Oak by claiming the Phobians are desperate for points.
