Herbert Addo rates All Stars high

The Wa-based team ended the first half of season in second place after chalking decent results in tricky turfs away.

Addo's Aduana have a one-point lead at the top and the experienced coach believes All Stars are serious contenders for the title.

"After playing with all the teams in the first round, I can say that All Stars were the most impressive and I think if they keep their heads above waters, they will shock Ghanaians," Addo told Citi FM.

"They are a solid side with great mental fortitude and I strongly believe that they should be the team to watch this season.

"But I am also sure that the rest of the team will come gun blazing in the second half of the season and that is where their toughness will be tested."

Ex-international Maxwell Konadu who was appointed after four rounds of matches improved the club's fortunes from relegation contenders to title hopefuls.

The team owned by Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, were promoted to the top-flight in 2007.
